I understand it’s his first NFL game. But why have the Seahawks not given the ball to Jadarian Price more?
Price looks every bit the explosive back the Seahawks hoped he would be when they took him out of Notre Dame at the end of the first round. He has 42 yards on six carries, which for those of us who remember our multiplication tables is 7 yards per carry.
George Holani, who was the Seahawks’ third-string running back behind Kenneth Walker III (now in Kansas City) and Zach Charbonnet (recovering from a torn ACL), also has six carries — for just 23 yards.
Let’s see how that affects Seattle’s game plan, though the Patriots will have the ball first after halftime.
